1924 Monday 3rd November.

Two Leith boys, aged 13 and 12 respectively, admitted breaking into a baker’s shop and stealing £2 10/- from the till. The Fiscal said the boys got into the shop by pressing in a fan light, which was on a level with the pavement, thus getting into the cellar, and thence into the shop. The older youth, who had two previous convictions, was ordered to be sent to the Mars Training Ship till he reaches the age of 16, and his companion, who had once previously been convicted, was dismissed with an admonition.
